A little about us...

                        We are Branching Out Florist Ltd, a real family business run by mother and daughter, Jacque & Bryony               

Branching Out was established back in October 2001 and for the last 24 years we have taken pride in designing bespoke floral creations for every occasion, be it weddings, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate or simply just because. Every moment deserves flowers, and here at Branching Out each member of our team takes pride in what they do.

Where are we?

You can find us in the heart of Wallingford’s town centre, opposite the town hall and the famous Corn Exchange theatre. There are plenty of car parks within a minutes walk to us, and a bus stop located directly outside the shop too.

Meet the team

Jacque took the leap in following her dream of having her own flower shop, after working in floristry since she was a teen, in 2001 she opened the doors of Branching Out. Her creative flare and eye for floristry has always come naturally. Jacque is the one who creates the magic with our beautiful window and shop displays and the presentation of our flower stand. Not only this she is also the chief of plant care and advice!

Jacque’s favourite type of floristry? – “Creating arrangements, such as blanket sprays and pedestals to table pieces and planters.”

Bryony grew up with the shop always being a part of her life, and in 2012 officially joined as a member of the team. As well as being taught floristry by Jacque, she developed a love for photography, which today we have combined into our Flowers & Photos wedding package. As well as being a florist, Bryony is the face behind our social media and the admin/ marketing of the shop.

Bryony’s favourite type of floristry? – “ I love a wedding, especially creating bridal & bridesmaid bouquets”

Fliss joined Branching Out over 21 years ago! She has been a valued member of our team, a great qualified florist and brings a wealth of flower and plant knowledge. As well as this, Fliss is also our brilliant peak organiser.

Fliss’s favourite type of floristry? – “Funeral design work, such as based lettering, mixed flower wreaths and bespoke shapes. I also love to decorate Christmas door wreaths.”

Charlotte joined us back in 2023, and was the missing piece to our puzzle! A qualified and highly experienced florist that brings a beautiful style of floristry to Branching Out. She is often the smiling face you will see first when you walk in our shop, based on the front bench always creating lots of lovely things. Fun fact! Charlotte originally did her secondary school work experience here with us back in 2006.

Charlotte’s favourite type of floristry? – “ I love to do a bit of everything, especially wedding work such as bridal bouquets, but the staple of a hand tied bouquet for any occasion cannot be beat!”   

Our delivery driver duo - Graham & Pete are our alternating part time drivers, who you will see delivering our flowers all around the Oxfordshire & Berkshire borders. As valued members of the team they are the ones delivering our floral creations straight from our door to yours.

And finally completing our flower shop family, we have our two shop dogs Betsy & Ralph!
